Rockcote AE Primer is an anti-efflorescent primer specifically designed to prevent efflorescence from blooming through topcoats when applied over fully cured site-mixed cement renders. Tintable to strong colours, it also creates a slip-resistant surface, making it easier to apply paints or trowel-on coatings. Suitable for priming site-mixed cement renders and mortar-jointed brick or block walls, it provides a barrier against efflorescence that can occur on these substrates. The primer can be used both interior and exterior, and after allowing 28 days for site-mixed renders to cure, it can be top-coated with paint or render.
